Merry and Bright

Muse:  Christmas Visions #12

Here's my card for this MCV12 challenge.  Marika's fun card offered many opportunities.  I focused on three of the colors (dark red, pink and gray), the presents, and white space.  I stamped, masked and embossed three presents with circles on them in dark red, light pink and gray.  To add extra sparkle I brushed each with clear Wink of Stella and embellished with a clear rhinestone.  Note:  The pink present did not ink entirely and the removable tape left a small blemish on the gifts.  I used a pink Prismacolor pencil to fix the blank spot and added a brushing of Wink of Stella to the presents that helped the blemishes disappear.

Products used:

Cardstock - MFT - Smooth White, Electric Red
Dies - MFT - Die-namics - Blueprints 1
Stamp - Recollections; MFT - Starry Christmas
Ink - Studio G - pigment - silver, gray and dark red (no specific color names were included)
Embossing Powder - Hampton Art - Clear; Recollections - Tinsel
Embellishments - Wink of Stella - clear; Rhinestones - clear - from stash
Marker - Prismacolor Pencil - Blush Pink
Adhesives - Scotch - two-sided and removable double sided tapes

JUST SAYING HELLO

MFT - Summer School - Secondary Colors

These colors (orange, green, purple) really pop off the white panel.  I inlaid the colors in the butterfly then stamped with VersaMark and embossed with clear embossing powder (with a little tinsel colored embossing powder) to give the butterfly some shine.  Then, I shaped the stamp on the stamping block to follow the curve.  Using the Snowdrifts die-namics I created the curves.

Cardstock - MFT - Smooth White, Black Licorice; Michaels
Dies - MFT - Die-namics - Fancy Butterflies; Blueprints 20; Stitched Snow Drifts
Stamp - Hero Arts
Ink - MFT - Hybrid - Black; VersaMark
Embossing Powder - Hampton Arts - Clear (with a little silver glitter)
Embellishments - Rhinestones from stash; Recollections - Embossing Powder - Tinsel
Adhesives - Scotch - two-sided tape; Martha Stewart - glue pen

Birthday Wishes

Challenges Entered:

Muse Challenge #124

MFT Summer School:  Gallon/Quart/Pint

For the Muse Challenge where Ardyth is the Muse this week, I used the same color theme, similar flowers and stems and some glitter on the petals.

For the MFT Summer School Challenge I chose blue (gallon), green (quart) and yellow (pint).

I chose "birthday wishes" as the sentiment, although other sentiments, such as get well, thinking of you, etc., would work well.  I like the look of tilting the panel just a touch.

Products used:

Cardstock - MFT - Sweet Tooth; Lemon Drop; Black Licorice
DP - MME - Bright; DCWV; Recollections - Bright and Basic
Dies - MFT - Die-namics - Blueprints 2; Pierced Square STAX; Rectangle STAX Set 1; Upsy Daisy
Stamp - Hero Arts
Ink - MFT - Hybrid - Black
Embellishments - Wink of Stella (clear); MME - enamel dots
Marker - Pitt - black

Have a tree-mendous Christmas

I'm playing in the following challenges:
-- Muse:  Christmas Visions 10
-- MFTWSC 236

For the MCV 10 Challenge my inspiration came from a number of elements in Chriss' card.  Those elements used:
--the color theme of aqua, red and lime
--stripes
--texture
--two trees (in lieu of two mittens)
--movement (snow drift)
This was a fun challenge to use the colors.

The design fits (somewhat loosely) with the MFTWSC 236.

Products used:
Cardstock - MFT - Sweet Tooth; Smooth White; Blu Raspberry; Red Hot
DP - DCWV
Stamps - Hero Arts
Dies - MFT Die-namics - Blueprints 1 and 20; Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX; Stitched Snow Drifts; Grosgrain Texture Board (Retired); Pierced Circle STAX
Ink - Colorbox Pigment - Scarlet; Hampton Art Studio G (lime color)

Muse: Christmas Visions 9 - Celebrate the Season

MCV9 - Celebrate the Season

Dies - MFT - Die-namics - Blueprints 1 and 20; Stitched Snow Drifts; Sun, Moon and Stars
Stamps - Hero Arts

Adhesives - Scotch - two-sided tape; Martha Stewart - glue pen; Glue Dots
